What has happened? What is going to happen?

New site design

It seemed time to redesign the Aliro web site to cater better for the project. The new site aims to clarify the goals of the Aliro project and to provide information needed by anyone who considers becoming involved in any way. There is still a lot more to do, but feedback or contributions are very welcome - visit the forum and give your views or make contact to participate in the project.

Forthcoming book

Martin Brampton, architect of Aliro, is busy writing a book for publication later this year. More details will be available here as the book moves towards completion.

Next Release - refreshed downloads repository

Along with creating a new web site, work has been going on to complete a fresh alpha release of Aliro, which will be available quite soon. It will be essentially the code that this site is using, as will be the new the Remository site very soon.

The file repository has been cleaned out so as to keep things as simple as possible. With continuing development, small but annoying bugs have appeared in some of the extensions, and these will all be checked before being published again.
